Our three year old, four year old, and mixed age programs are similar in structure and scope. Programming in all classes is centred around the current children’s needs, interests, and developmental levels. Our child-centred programming is designed so that each class offers a unique experience based on the current group of students.
A typical day includes:

Washing hands before playing.
Centres.

Testimonials
"The teachers are always on the floor playing with the kids, sitting at a table chatting with them while they do their craft or eat their snack, settling disagreements with great patience and kindness, teaching the kids to think about each other and how to treat others well."
"When I volunteered as Parent Helper, I see that the children are always engaged, always excited, always doing something. The classroom is a vibrant and exciting place to be."
"Fantastic school! I love that it is a parent run non-profit school. Teachers are wonderful!"
"Through all the opportunities for play and learning, my little girl has grown so much this year in many ways. She started the year very shy, and each day she took a while to warm up to the children and adults in the classroom. However, as the year progressed, she became more and more confident, making friends with all of her classmates and telling us lots of stories at the end of each day."
"There is so much thought and creativity in the class, and the teachers knows each of their students well and make them feel special each day. We have loved our year at Spruce Grove Playschool and would recommend it to anyone. It is such a lovely place for children."
